Skylar grew up in West Virginia and moved back just last year from northern Virginia! She graduated from Shenandoah University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Therapy and is a practicing board-certified music therapist. Skylar is seeking a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. She believes that everyone deserves to have a dream and have that dream be heard by others. It is an absolute privilege to be joining the Connecting Champions team and working with folks in her home state!
Growing up, I helped rescue and nurse animals back to health including raccoons, deer, and flying squirrels!
