Join us on Saturday, October 3, 2026 at Rockwell Park in Pittsburgh’s East End for our official 15th birthday party! Together, we’ll honor 15 years of supporting the bravery of kids and young adults affected by cancer — and we’re making history while we do it.

Together We Are Champions — World Record Attempt
This year, we’re attempting a world record live at the event — and every single person in the room is part of it. With 1,500 hand-painted baseballs created by a local Pittsburgh artist, our attendees will assemble a one-of-a-kind mural together, ball by ball, right before your eyes.

It’s more than a record attempt. It’s a symbol of everything Connecting Champions has always believed: that no one faces cancer alone, and that something beautiful happens when a community comes together around a child or young adult who needs them. One ball doesn’t make a mural. One mentor, one champion, one supporter doesn’t change the world on their own. But 1,500 of us? Together, we are champions.

Every ball you place is your piece of something larger than any one of us. And when it’s complete, we’ll have created something that has never existed before — a world record, and a testament to what this community can do when we show up for each other.

Inspiration Awards Ceremony: Our signature ceremony takes center stage as we celebrate not just the transformative journeys of these courageous individuals, but also the 15-year impact of our mentor-champion relationships. Be prepared to be moved by their stories of resilience, determination, and triumph, which have defined our mission for a decade and a half.
