It is absolutely astonishing that we had the privilege of celebrating 10 years of Connecting Champions in 2021. It is incredible to think about how far we truly have come over the past decade.
We started off as a small nonprofit that only worked with kids in one children’s hospital in Pittsburgh. It is a surreal feeling to look at a map and think about all of the cities we are now a part of and how many families we have the opportunity to work with.
There is no better feeling than thinking about all of the friendships that we have been blessed to be a part of. We have watched as our kids have formed lifelong friendships with basketball players, fashion designers, police officers, and everything in between.
None of this would be possible without the constant support of our donors. We are forever grateful for how much you have helped Connecting Champions grow in the past ten years. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for always supporting us and helping these kids and young adults and their families get through their journeys.
We are extremely excited to see where the next decade and beyond take us. While it is fun to look back at how far we have come, it’s even more enjoyable to think about all of the possibilities that lie ahead of us.
