Jaden’s two passions are graphic design and photography. He is able to put them both to use with his mentor, Owen.
Owen, a designer, illustrator, and animator of his family’s company, 2Shea Creative, has been teaching Jaden everything he knows about the magic of graphic design. Their latest project has been taking some of Jaden’s personal creations and enhancing them through Adobe After Effects. During their meetings, Owen gives Jaden a step-by-step tutorial on how to continue to improve his work.
“Jaden looks forward to it all the time,” said Pittsburgh program specialist Matthew. “This is a meeting where once they get going, it seems like a professor teaching all these new tricks. I just sit back and watch this art piece come to life. It’s so much fun.”
One of Jaden’s major interests is cars. During his meetings with Owen, he shares his latest photographs of the newest cars he’s seen as Owen helps him grow even more in his craft.
“His pictures look like professional photos,” said Matthew. “It is insane how good they are.”
Despite his already impressive talent, Owen is helping Jaden to grow into a more well-rounded graphic designer and photographer.
On the horizon for the 20-year-old Jaden and his mentor is a custom project where they will create something from scratch and work together to create a masterpiece.
